⚽📊 Football Tips and Analysis from Neil Macdonald

My name is Neil Macdonald, and I've been betting professionally on the European Top 5 leagues for over a decade.

I've worked in the industry for the majority of my adult years and have been involved with companies such as Paddy Power and Covers.com

I've spent the past few years publicly and privately advising others on the best possible tips for various sports. Please read below to learn more about how to follow my long-term bets, as well as our credentials from third-party sources. Following my bets long term.

  1. I recommend you start off with a betting bank of 60 units. Example $1,200 betting bank, Each unit is = $20, $6,000 betting bank, Each unit is = $100. Following this method will mean you will weather the worst drawdowns we've had over the last decade.
  2. My bets are easy to follow. I average about 60 bets a month during the European season (slightly lower during the summer)
  3. I try to release bets generally a day before the match once I feel a strong enough grasp on the starting eleven for both teams. (On occasion, bets can be released closer to kick-off but generally no later than 1 hour before the game begins)
  4. I bet on markets that are widely available to everyone, markets include straight match betting (a team to win), Asian Handicap, Total Goals, Team Total Goals, and Both teams to score.
  5. My record since 2013 has returned well over 400 units of profit, this would mean $40,000 profit if staking $100 per unit
  6. I am in the process of converting all my bets to 'units' but here you can see my full record since the start of 2019 https://bettin.gs/NeilMac

My approach.

  • I believe understanding a teams tactical approach is a massive advantage as well as the managers playing philosophy, this is often overlooked and something you can't model for.
  • Having a competent understanding of player ability is essential too, the starting XI a team puts out has a huge impact, especially certain positions.
  • Putting heavy weight on teams' performances against similar opponents, this applies to both tactically similar sides and teams with a similar attack and defence metrics.
  • I have a strong network of contacts around the continent to stay ahead of bookmakers on team news, particularly injuries/transfers/suspensions to key players which is where I find a large edge in the market
  • On top of this network, I examine all the advanced metrics such as xG (expected goals), xGA (expected goals against), npxG (chance creation from open play), PPDA (how aggressively a team presses their opponent), OPPDA (how well a team can resist a teams press). Simply looking at score lines and basic stats is not enough.

Overall I'm looking at every trace of information I can get my hands on while trying to evaluate what matters and what doesn't. If I feel I have enough of an advantage in the market I will bet and advise my members to follow at an advised price

Every bet I quote comes with a minimum odds threshold
